  • Ski Jumping Highlights and Low-Lights (faux pas) => Highlight: Representing Alaska in the Alaskan-hosted Junior Nationals last year. Low-Light: Lacking snow the past two seasons. Low-Light: Crashing on a forty-meter ski jump with little snow, resulting with ice abrasions on my neck. Highlight: Lots of likes and comments on Instagram from the posted picture of the injury. Low-Light: Knee swelling up at the beginning of this season and being diagnosed with some type of arthritis, pushing back my first actual jumping practice of the season to late December.

  • Personal Best (distance and hill) => 44 meters/60 meter hill (definitely better than that hopefully)

  • Skiing Goals => Jumping farther and skiing faster in Nordic Combined despite setbacks such as huge changes in temperature and altitude.

  • Where are you and what are you doing 10 years from now? => In ten years from now, I will be an engineer creating revolutionary products that will change the lives of Americans and people from around the world. I will live somewhere in the Lower 48 (maybe Utah) where it is warmer but there is still skiing, and where there will be more opportunities for me.

  • If you were a superhero, what would your powers be? => My powers would include flying and invisibility.

  • Hobbies => Four types of skiing: Alpine/Downhill Skiing, Telemark Skiing, X-Country Skiing, and Ski Jumping Working out with the APU Nordic Ski Program Reading Road Biking and Mountain Biking
